Currently Network Executive Clinical Director for the ISLHD & Director Department of Nuclear Medicine Wollongong Hospital. Professor Elison has had 25 years experience as a Physician in Nuclear Medicine with a wide range of interest in Nuclear Medicine. As President of the ANZAPNM in 2000 he was responsible for the implementation of PET services in Australia following negotiation with the Federal Government for the funding arrangements.
He has continued his commitment to Nuclear Medicine as chair of the Nuclear Medicine Network in ACI & is currently negotiating for radionuclide funding for NSW NET patients, similar to that which occurs in Victoria, Queensland & Western Australia. He continues to provide leadership for the Nuclear Medicine community in the Illawarra region & is actively involved with the Graduate School of Medicine University of Wollongong in regards to undergraduate teaching as well as post graduate teaching and registrar training.

Dr Niri Ganeshan undertook his undergraduate studies at the University of Sydney before progressing to his radiology training at Liverpool, Concord and Royal North Shore Hospitals. He won the H.R. Sears Prize for best candidate in the radiology Part Two Exams and the MGF Donnan Prize for best candidate in the pathology Part Two Exams.
Niri has particular interests in neuroradiology and musculoskeletal MRI for which he undertook a fellowship at the University of Iowa and University of Toronto respectively.
